4 NYPD Officers Injured After Two Cruisers Collide In Queens

QUEENS, NY — Four NYPD officers are recovering after two police squad cars crashed into each other while responding to a 911 call in Queens Monday night.

The two marked police vehicles collided at the intersection of Rockaway Freeway and Seagirt Boulevard near Beach 34 Street in the Rockaways around 9:10 p.m.

The police officers were responding to a 911 call of shots fired.

The four individuals were taken to Jamaica Hospital for treatment

No injuries were reported from the shots fired call, police said. No arrests were made in connection with the call.
