Authorities are searching for the person that punched and struck a 43-year-old man with a blunt object on the 'F' train, police said.

QUEENS — A man was punched and struck with a blunt object on a moving train in Jackson Heights last week, police said.

Authorities are searching for the person that punched and struck a 43-year-old man with a blunt object while riding a southbound 'F' train that was approaching the Roosevelt Avenue and Jackson Heights station on March 26, the NYPD said.

The attacker fled at 57 Street and 6 Avenue station and the 43-year-old was taken to New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, cops said.
