Men That Failed To Steal A Car At Queens Dealership Sought: NYPD

Police are seeking the two men that executed a failed car robbery on April 1 at Ford of Queens in Briarwood, the NYPD said.

QUEENS — Two men failed to rob a vehicle after breaking into a Ford and Lincoln car dealership in Briarwood earlier this month, police said.

Police are seeking the two men that executed a failed car robbery on Saturday, April 1, at Ford of Queens located at 139-40 Queens Boulevard after breaking into the dealership by breaking the window, the NYPD said.

One of the men threw a brick at the front glass window of the dealership about 10 p.m., and then took one of the keys to a vehicle, authorities said.

The burglars failed to open any of the cars with the key, and then fled, cops said.

Damages to the front window they broke is about $1,200, police said.

The NYPD released images of the men on Wednesday. One of the burglars was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with unknown designs, light blue jeans, and white sneakers, while the other man was last seen wearing a red hooded jacket, black pants, and black shoes, cops said.
