QUEENS, NY — Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has won reelection in New York's 14th Congressional District race against Republican challenger Tina Forte, according to the Associated Press.

The 14th Congressional District encompasses parts of Queens and the Bronx.

Ocasio-Cortez has represented the district since 2019. In the 2018 general election, she defeated Anthony Pappas 78.2 percent to 13.6 percent.
