Robbers Target Men In Elmhurst, Corona, Take Hundreds of Dollars: NYPD

Two men attacked a 66-year-old man and a 55-year-old man before taking money from their wallets, police said.

QUEENS — Two men were the targets of separate robberies in Elmhurst and Corona, with thieves taking hundreds of dollars in March, police said.

Two men placed a 66-year-old man in a headlock before taking $100 from his wallet in front of 46-20 Junction Boulevard, near Alstyne Avenue, on March 16 about 4:30 a.m., the NYPD said.

Half an hour later, two men punched a 55-year-old man at the intersection of 43 Avenue and 108 Street before placing him in a chokehold and taking $600 from his wallet, authorities said.

On both robberies, the two men fled in a Toyota four-door sedan with a third man behind the wheel, cops said.

Police released images of the robbers on Wednesday.
