Suspect Sought After Pepper-Spraying Man On NYC Subway: NYPD

QUEENS, NY — Police are searching for a woman who allegedly peeper sprayed a man aboard a New York City subway train last week.

The incident happened aboard a north-bound "L" train, at the Halsey Street train station around 5:50 p.m., police said.

The woman and a 68-year-old man apparently got into an argument aboard the train before the suspect discharged pepper spray onto the man's face, police said.

The unidentified suspect then fled the scene.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect this week. No arrests have been made yet.

The woman is described as standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighing about 125 pounds, with long brown hair and a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue shorts.
