• Five Suffolk towns get road enhancements to keep drivers safe, Hochul says (newsday.com) — Drivers using Quogue Riverhead Road (County Route 104) will see new safety upgrades thanks to a share of $7 million in state funding for Suffolk County roads. The project, part of New York’s “Safe System” push toward zero highway deaths, will add rumble strips, guide rails, and clearer markings on key corridors in Southampton, Riverhead, Brookhaven, Babylon, and Islip.
