2 More Guilty Pleas in Drug Ring Case
Following a guilty plea on Monday by a former school custodian, two others pleaded guilty on Thursday.

Joseph Gilliam, court records show, took the same plea on Thursday as Troy Trent did earlier in the week, pleading guilty to conspiracy in the fourth degree, - a class E felony - in return for a year of conditional sentencing, meaning that over the next year, he must not get arrested or test positive for drugs, according to District Attorney Spokesman Bob Clifford.
Ramon Overton stood charged with 10 felonies and 16 charges in total. On Thursday, he pleaded guilty to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class C felony. He is due back in court on May 24.

, District Attorney Thomas Spota said that Gilliam and Trent supplied Overton, "an active street-level crack dealer in Riverhead," with cocaine.
The investigation into Overton, Trent, and Gilliam lasted from January 2010 to December 2010. They were arrested in an East End Drug Task Force sting.
