5 People Cut Fence, Illegally Entered Shoreham Nuclear Power Plant: PD

SHOREHAM, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the people who, they said, damaged a fence in Shoreham in February.

Five people used bolt cutters to cut the fence and illegally enter the Shoreham Nuclear Power Facility, located at 2 Lilco Road, on February 8, police said.

The damage to the fence is estimated at $2,800, police said.
