Photo: Ground Broken for New Riverhead Charter School
The new two-story school, once constructed, will serve 600 students in grades K-8.
On Thursday morning, 300 students, their families , as well as school officials from the Riverhead Charter School in Calverton celebrated the ground breaking of their new $14.1 million school.
The new two-story school, once constructed, will serve 500 students in grades K-8. It is set to be completed by the 2014-2015 school year.
