- Calverton Man And Member Of The Bloods Gang Convicted Of Murder After Federal Jury Trial: Lawrence Lewis, 38, also known as “L Boogs” was convicted yesterday on charges of murder, racketeering, narcotics possession and distribution, forcible rape, sex trafficking, multiple firearms offenses and witness tampering, after a four-week jury trial in federal district court in Central Islip. - Aquebogue Attorney Under Fire For Lawn Signs Bidding Riverhead's Latina Supervisor 'Adios:' Ron Hariri has come under fire for comments he’s made referencing the town supervisor’s ethnicity and for signs posted outside a building he recently renovated for a satellite office, declaring “Adios, Aguiar.” The property is located across the street from Aquebogue Elementary School, which is a designated polling place. - Women stabbed repeatedly in Riverhead parking lot. According to Riverhead Police, a 911 call came in at 2:56 p.m. about two females fighting in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven on West Main Street. Domonique Scaggs, 31, of Riverhead, was found with "extensive" stab wounds and lacerations to her lung and spleen, police said. Scaggs underwent surgery and is in stable condition. (The Patch)
