WADING RIVER, NY — Taylor Swift fans are invited to "Shake It Off" at a special event scheduled for The Shoppes at East Wind this weekend.

The special Taylor Swift celebration event is slated to take place on Saturday, October 4, from 11 a.m.. to 5 p.m. at The Shoppes at East Wind, located at 5768 New York State Route 25A.

"This fun-filled day is scheduled the day after Taylor Swift's highly anticipated new album release 'Life of a Showgirl'," organizers said.

Highlights include "Totally Taylor A Tribute by Elizabeth Edquist," who will be performing live from noon to 1 p.m, sponsored by Brianna Burwell and Danika Hall with New York Life.

In addition, the WBLI radio van will be onsite, with DJ Ally Ali; raffles will be held for two limited-edition copies of Taylor Swift's new album and other prizes; attendees can also spin the WBLI Prize Wheel.

Taylor Swift-themed food and drinks will be available throughout The Shoppes; photo ops and selfie stations inspired by iconic Taylor Swift eras will be featured; and other giveaways and surprises will take place all day.
