17-Year-Old Charged With Stabbing 2 To Death At Pizzeria
Two 16-year-old boys later died from their stab wounds. One was from Yonkers and one was from Queens.

YONKERS, NY — An arrest has been made in an altercation at a Westchester pizzeria that left two teens dead and another charged in their deaths.
The Yonkers Police Department says that on Thursday, around 8 p.m., officers were called to Lake Ave. after receiving a report about an argument taking place.
Once on the scene, police found two 16-year-old boys with stab wounds. Officers administered aid to the victims and they were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. However, both teens died from their injuries soon after arriving at the hospital.

Detectives from the Major Case Squad, along with the Digital Forensics Unit and the Crime Scene Unit, responded to the scene and started an investigation.
Investigators say that one of the victims entered the pizzeria and got into an argument with the suspect. The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the first victim once in the chest. The suspect then started to flee the pizzeria when he encountered the second victim at the entrance. The suspect then stabbed the second victim in the abdomen and upper chest before fleeing from the scene.

Detectives apprehended the suspect in Yonkers on Friday.
The suspect is a 17-year-old Yonkers resident and is expected to be arraigned in the Youth Part of Westchester County Court as an adolescent offender on two counts of felony second-degree murder.
One of the victims was identified as a Yonkers resident, while the second victim was identified as a Queens resident.
Due to the ages of all involved, police said that no further information regarding their identities will be released.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of these two young lives," Commissioner Chris Sapienza said. "Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones during this difficult time. This is a senseless tragedy that has impacted our entire community. I would like to thank our detectives who worked swiftly and diligently to apprehend the suspect in this case."
