50 Asylum-Seekers From NYC Arrive In Ardsley

Officials said the migrants include five children under the age of 5.

ARDSLEY, NY — Another group of asylum-seekers have been brought to the Hudson Valley from New York City.

Fifty migrants, including five children under 5 years of age, are now staying in 35 rooms at the Ardsley Acres Hotel Court, News 12 reported.

Ardsley Mayor Nancy Kaboolian said several nonprofit organizations and members of the community have offered assistance.

These are not the only asylum-seekers staying in Westchester County.

On June 4, 46 people — families and children under 5 — arrived in White Plains at the Central Motel Courtyard, occupying 16 of 29 contracted rooms.
