Bomb Threat At Country Club In Westchester Led To Emergency Response

IRVINGTON, NY — The Irvington Police Department and the Irvington Fire Department responded to a bomb threat at the Ardsley Country Club on Saturday.

After receiving the threat, police secured the scene and coordinated with local emergency services, including the Westchester County Hazardous Devices Unit.

Everyone at the club was safely evacuated while officers searched the property, authorities said. No explosive devices were found, and the scene was deemed safe by officials.

The investigation remains ongoing, police said. Investigators are working to identify the person or persons behind the threat.

"We urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity," Irvington Police said in a statement released on Saturday. "Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Irvington Police Department at 914-591-8080."

The Irvington Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Irvington Fire Department, the Irvington Volunteer Ambulance Corps., and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.
