Greenburgh To Rename Tennis Courts In Honor Of Lefkowitz Family
The Greenburgh Parks and Recreation Advisory Board voted unanimously to recommend the action.
GREENBURGH, NY — The tennis courts at the Anthony F. Veteran Park will be named for a local family.
The Greenburgh Town Board will vote at its meeting Wednesday to honor Janet and Larry Lefkowitz by naming the tennis courts The Lefkowitz Family Tennis Center, Supervisor Paul Feiner said.
A resolution unanimously urging the Town Board to take this action was approved recently by the Greenburgh Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

After the couple moved to Hartsdale, they were instrumental in helping the town develop recreation facilities, including offering legal expertise, serving on committees and working for the parks and recreation department.
The Greenburgh Town Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Town Hall, 177 Hillside Ave.
