Hastings American Legion Opens Holiday Drive for Disabled Veterans

The American Legion Farragut Post 1195 and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1195 in Hastings-on-Hudson recently began its 2013 Holiday Drive for veterans at the Montrose VA Hospital.

Items they are collecting include:



• Clothing: T-Shirts, sweatpants andshirts, flannel shirts, socks, underwear, women's slippers and robes, coats (L-XXXL)

• Travel mugs


• Phone Cards


• Crayons, Coloring Books, Puzzles

Items may be dropped off through Friday, Dec. 20 at the James Harmon Community Center, 44 Main Street in Hastings-on-Hudson, during normal business hours. For more information, email them at farragutpost1195@gmail.com.
