Hastings School Budget Results Announced

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, NY — Voters in the Hastings-on-Hudson school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the 2023-24 budget.

The proposed spending plan of $57.6 million was approved 1,262 to 330, according to unofficial results.

The budget is up 4.19 percent over the current budget.

The tax levy increase is 2.83 percent, which is under the state tax cap.

There were four candidates running for two, three-year seats. The winners are Theresa McCaffrey and Jodie Meyer.
