Irvington School Budget Results Announced
Voters were asked to approve a spending plan of $73 million for 2023-24.
IRVINGTON, NY — Voters in the Irvington school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the 2023-24 budget.
The proposed spending plan of $73 million was approved 479 to 113, according to unofficial results.
The budget is up 6.72 percent over the current budget.

The tax levy increase is 3.41 percent, which is under the state tax cap.
There were three candidates running for three, three-year seats: incumbent Brian Friedman, Dympna Kenny and incumbent Jayne Wissner.
