Items Stolen From Unlocked Vehicles, Irvington Police Say
Police in Irvington are urging residents to secure their vehicles.
IRVINGTON, NY - Irvington Police issued a warning to residents to lock their vehicles after a series of items were reported stolen from vehicles that were unlocked.
Police issued the warning this week in a Facebook post, which can be found here.
Police said that the incidents took place in the village's south end.

"Never leave purses, wallets, laptops, cellphones or anything of value in your parked vehicle and always lock it," the police department's post stated. "If you observe anyone acting suspicious or looking into parked vehicles, please call us immediately at 591-8080."
