Police Investigate Tarrytown Stabbing
Tarrytown Police are investigating the case of a man who was found with a cut to his neck at the DoubleTree Hotel and an unknown suspect who fled.
Tarrytown police report that a stabbing incident in or near the DoubleTree Hotel is under investigation.
On Feb. 23 at 2 a.m., a manager from the DoubleTree called police to report that his security guards had found blood in the hallway of the hotel. The manager had no more information at the time.
Tarrytown police officers went to the hotel and called Tarrytown Volunteer Ambulance Corps to help a man found with a laceration on his neck, apparently from a knife wound.

The victim described the man who stabbed him as unknown to him, approximately 5’7”, Hispanic, of stocky build with black hair. The man had reportedly fled the area.
Further police investigation revealed the suspect was possibly driving a four-door red Honda that may have gone northbound.

Police put out a hotline to area police with that information. Irvington PD assigned an officer to assist searching the area and Tarrytown detectives were contacted to assist.
TVAC transported the victim to Westchester County Medical Center accompanied by an officer.
The County Evidence Collection Team arrived along with a county police supervisor. The evidence team collected evidence and took photographs.
Tarrytown detective division reported a continuing investigation and have offered no further updates.
