Section Champions to Clash in Irvington

Pearl River faces its toughest test of the season 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at . The Bulldogs feature a pair of Division I recruits. Brittini Lai is headed to Marist and Alexis Martins to Lehigh University. Irvington is currently the top-ranked team in the state in Class B. 

Martins and Lai combined for 57 points in in the Slam Dunk Tournament. Connecticut recruit Soniya Chong scored 51 in that game for the Pride, the state's top-ranked team in Class AA. 

Pearl River's one defeat this season came at home against Oneonta, the No. 3 team in the state in Class B. Irvington's only loss came against Ossining.
