Family Fun Day
Where/When: Waterfront Park on Sunday, June 23 from 12 to 3 p.m.Why go: The Children's Village is sponsoring a day of family activities at the park Sunday afternoon that will include games, food, a bouncy castle, smooch-a-pooch and more. The Dobbs Ferry Police Department will be conducting free safety checks of bikes and car seats. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Assistance Dog Training Program at The Children's Village.

Tango Mouvance Milonga
Where/When: Art Academy of Westchester on Saturday, June 22 from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.Why go: Accomplished dancers will showcase Argentine Tango, while there will be opportunities for guests to take part in beginner (6-7 p.m.) or intermediate/advanced lessons (7 to 8:30 p.m.). Light refreshments will be served.

A Night on Fire
Where/When: Philipsburg Manor on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22 at 8:15 p.m. and 10 p.m.Why go: Juggling, fire eating, comedy and more come together for four fiery performances this weekend. Tickets can be purchased online in advance.

Hastings' Farmers Market
Where/When: Hastings-on-Hudson Public Library parking lot on Saturday, June 22 (and every Saturday through November) from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.Why go: In addition to the usual selection of vendors offering fresh and prepared foods, the market offers kids yoga at 9:30 a.m. each week; along with crafts from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and live music from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Pipe Cleaner Wee Folk Craft
Where/When: Irvington Public Library on Saturday, June 22 at 2 p.m.Why go: Biana Medina is offering an instructional craft that will allow attendees to make their own Wee Folk using pipe cleaners. Register in advance by calling 591-7840.

Solstice Yoga by the Hudson
Where/When: Kingsland Point Park on Friday, June 21 at 6 p.m.Why go: Certified yoga instructor Steve Kane is offering a special class open to all levels in celebration of the longest day of the year. Just bring your own mat and water bottle.
