Steuben Center in Bath Accepted Into Project Firstline NY
Facility Staff Proud to be Part of the Statewide Post-Covid-19 Infection Control Program

On June 28, 2023, it was announced that the skilled nursing facility Steuben Center in Bath, New York, was accepted into New York State’s infection control quality improvement program, “Project Firstline NY”. Some of the staff at the 105-bed facility were included in some fun infection control education and also got to do an infection control escape room. Steuben Center had four total teams and the team that clocked the fastest time getting out of the escape room at seven minutes, thirty seconds included the following staff as seen in the photo above.
"This is such a very proud moment for all of us here at Steuben Center," said Kameryn Comstock, Activities Director. "It's all for a great statewide initiative because it really shows that in healthcare, no one must let their guard down when it comes to infection control, even after the Covid-19 pandemic."
In conjunction with the NY State Foundation For Quality Care and the NYSHFA/NYSCAL, Project Firstline NY is a free infection control program that seeks to provide support and resources to New York‘s frontline healthcare workers, families, and communities post-COVID-19 pandemic.
