POINT LOOKOUT, NY — A dozen people were rescued after a boat began to sink in Point Lookout over the weekend, police said.

The 58-foot vessel started taking in water on Saturday afternoon, leading the county's Marine Bureau 6 to respond.

All 12 passengers were safely brought to the shore. No injuries were reported.
