15 Years Added to OMC Gang Member's Lengthy Prison Sentence
Old Mill Court man already serving 75 years for murder.

A gang member from Old Mill Court received an extra 15 years in federal prison Friday on drugs and weapons charges.
Charles Parsley, 29, was sentenced on June 28 at the U.S. Eastern District Court in Central Islip for narcotics and weapons charges stemming from his 2010 arrest.
Parsley was sentenced to serve 15 years in a federal prison for distributing narcotics and the possession of a defaced handgun.

In 2012, Parsley, who police said is a member of the "Bloods" gang, was convicted of the murder of a Yonkers woman and the attempted murder of her boyfriend. He was sentenced to serve 75 years for the 2010 incident.
Parsley will serve the new 15-year term in addition to the murder sentence.

Rockville Centre Police Commissioner was pleased with the sentence and praised those responsible for the outcome.
“I appreciate the hard work that went into this case from those involved," Gennario said. "I particularly would like to acknowledge our own Rockville Centre Police Detectives, the F.B.I., the U.S. Attorney’s office and the Nassau County Police Department."
