2 Arrested In Connection With Fatal Overdose: Nassau Police
Detectives recovered cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and oxycodone/acetaminophen at a residence, police say.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — Two people were arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal overdose in Nassau County, Nassau police said.
An investigation into a fatal overdose in Nassau County led detectives to a Nassau Place residence in Hempstead around 4:50 p.m. Thursday, police said.
William Billups, 54, of Hempstead, and Tomeko Bradley, 51, of Freeport, were both arrested without incident, police said.

At the residence, detectives recovered 43 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine, 52 grams of a substance believed to be crack cocaine, six grams of a substance believed to be heroin, 110 envelopes containing a substance believed to be heroin, and five pills believed to be oxycodone/acetaminophen, police said.
Billups was charged with seven counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; and one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Bradley was charged with six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; and one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; police said.
They are slated to be arraigned on Friday at First District Court, at 99 Main St., Hempstead.
