April 12: BOE, 100 Things and Larry Kirwan

It's Tuesday, which means there's only three more days until the weekend! Don't worry though, there's plenty going on today to get your mind off work, so get involved.

1. The Board of Education meets tonight at 8:30 p.m. at the high school. Come down and find out what's happening in the district and how your tax dollars are being spent.

2. The Village Board met last night for its general session. Did you miss it? Patch will recap the meeting today at noon.

3. What's No. 90 of our 100 things to do in Rockville Centre? Find out when our newest column posts at 2 p.m.

4. Come down to Molloy College to hear songs and stories with Larry Kirwan of Black 47 tonight at 7 p.m. Kirwan is a rock and roll poet, and he will talk about Irish heritage appreciation. Black 47 is an Irish celtic rock band that uses many different influences in their music, including reggae, hip-hop, modern and traditional jazz.
