April 6: Family Forum and Self-Defense Class

Wednesday is here, which means we're pretty much halfway through the work week. Get through today and the weekend is around the corner! With that in mind, here are five things you should know about today.

1.  RVC Patch is profiling a new Whiz Kid today. Want to know who? Find out at 10 a.m.

2. When is the appropriate age to let your kids start dating and what kind of advice should be given to them? Leave your comment on our Family Forum post at noon.

3. Are you looking for a job in RVC? Did you miss our jobs post yesterday? No worries. Read through some local employment opportunities .

4. A women's self defense class is being held in nearby East Rockaway at the Freestyle Martial Arts Academy, located at 21 Ryder Place. The class runs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is open to all.

5. The Village Board meets tomorrow at 7 p.m. at Village Hall for a briefing session. Though public comment is not allowed, find out what's happening around RVC.
