Argument In Nassau Home Leads To Threat Of Violence With Knife: Police

ISLAND PARK, NY — Officers were called to an Island Park residence early Thursday for a disturbance that escalated to the threat of violence, police said.

Danny Susi, 23, of Hewlett, was arrested and charged with second-degree attempted assault, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Susi is accused of threatening the 53-year-old male victim with a knife. He also intentionally damaged a door before fleeing, authorities said.

He was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
