Bites Nearby — Churchill's

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Rockville Centre Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

  — If you're meeting friends for drinks, or taking a date to dinner, Churchill's has a vast menu to satisfy any palette. Its outdoor patio and bar is filled with large, flat screens televisions to catch the local game, and its indoor dining area can accommodate small to large parties.

Churchill's offers happy hour specials on Monday to Friday, as well as a prix fixed menu from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at a cost of around $15. On weekdays, Churchill's offers a different special each day: Monday is wing night, Tuesday is "burger mania," Wednesday is unlimited marinated skirt steak night for $17, Thursday is its slider night, while Saturday night's special is slow-roasted prime rib. Sunday brunch is also served from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and is priced from $13 to $17.

Located at 18 S. Park Ave., Churchill's is open Monday to Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. On Saturday, its open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The bar is open on the weekends until 4 a.m.
