Cops: Thief Defecated in Van, Stole Backup Camera

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

• July 15: Oak Tree Lane, Levittown; cash stolen from pocket of jacket that was sitting inside car.
• July 15: Balcom Road, Farmingdale; Michael Kors wallet stolen.
• July 16: Pewter Lane, Hicksville; Garmin GPS, cash stolen.
• July 16: LA Fitness, N. New Hyde Park; windows smashed on several cars, multiple items stolen.
• July 16: Lexington Avenue, Westbury; tools, mens clothing, sunglasses, and watch stolen.
• July 16: Lexington Avenue, Westbury; front grill stolen.
• July 17: Michel Avenue, S. Farmingdale; fishing reel stolen from garage that was left open, GPS stolen from car in garage.
• July 17: Washington Avenue, Seaford; sideview mirrors stolen.
• July 17: Border Lane, Levittown; two cars ransacked, cash stolen.
• July 17: CVS, Farmingdale; unknown person stolen van’s backup camera and defecated inside the vehicle.
• July 17: Brush Hollow Road, Westbury; both license plates stolen.
• July 17: Plainfield Avenue, Elmont; wallet stolen.
• July 18: W. Merrick Road, Valley Stream; Tory Burch pocketbook containing wallet, earrings, diamond necklace, ankle bracelet stolen.
• July 18: Fence Lane, Levittown; cash stolen from car.
• July 18: Sunrise Highway, Massapequa; Garmin GPS stolen from car.
• July 18: United Artists Theater, Westbury; Michael Kors pocketbook, cellphone, Michael Kors wallet, credit card stolen from car.
• July 18: Coppersmith Road, Levittown; cash stolen.
• July 19: Madison Street, Elmont; Dr. Dre portable speakers and cash stolen.
• July 19: Northern Boulevard, Manhasset; clothing stolen.
• July 19: Bee Street, N. Valley Stream; wallet stolen from center console.
• July 20: Tappen Beach, Sea Cliff; Michael Kors bag and contents stolen.
• July 20: Lauman Lane, Hicksville; iPhone 6, iPod, iPhone car charger, two pairs of Nike sneakers, prescription medication stolen.
• July 21: Merrick Road, Massapequa; tools stolen from truck.
• July 21: Foster Avenue, Valley Stream; GPS and change stolen.
• July 21: W. Merrick Road, Valley Stream; after picking up car that had been dropped off for repair, man noticed his EZ-Pass, camera, mini badges, PBA cards, and Chief badge were missing.
