Crime Watch: Cleveland Avenue Home Hit for $16K

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrest:

On April 24 at 3:53 a.m., Romel Maat Germain, 21, of Rosedale, was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana and VTL violations following an investigation by police personnel at Hempstead Avenue and Bulson Road in Rockville Centre.

On April 25 at 4:38 p.m., Peter A. Benson, 47, of Deer Park, was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and VTL violations following a police investigation at Sunrise Highway and N. Centre Avenue in Rockville Centre.

On April 27 at 3:27 a.m., Anthony Arcamona, 22, of Valley Stream, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and VTL violations following a police investigation on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

On April 28 at 4:36 a.m., Joseph Nicastro, 28, of W. Hempstead, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and VTL violations following an investigation by police personnel on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

Burglary:

On April 26 at 2:05 p.m., a complainant from Cleveland Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 10 a.m. and 1:55 p.m., unknown person(s) damaged a living room window, ransacked her residence and stole a gold ring valued at $15,000 and a silver coin collection valued at approximately $1,000.
