Crime Watch: Four Muirfield Road Homes Burglarized on Jan. 4
Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

Arrests:
On Jan. 3 at approximately 7:47 a.m., Terrell Tillman, 20, of Roosevelt, was arrested and charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and traffic offenses following an investigation by police personnel on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre. The defendant was operating a motor vehicle that had been reported stolen and he was found to be in possession of a gravity knife.
On Jan. 8 at 1:48 a.m., Deivis C. Holguin, 24, of Freeport, was arrested in Municipal Parking Field No.1 for reportedly assaulting an employee of Kasey’s Bar located on N. Park Avenue in Rockville Centre.

Burglary:
On Jan. 4 at 5:55 a.m., a Muirfield Road resident reported that unknown person(s) entered his residence through an unlocked rear window without permission sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 5:55 a.m. and stole $400 and two iPod music players.

On Jan. 4 at 6:11 a.m., an Arden Court resident reported that unknown person(s) entered his residence through an unlocked rear window without permission sometime between Jan. 3 at 11 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 6:05 a.m. and stole $410.
On Jan. 4, a complainant from Muirfield Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 8:04 a.m., unknown person(s) entered his residence through a side door and removed a lap top computer, bank checks and stole his 2008 BMW. The side door frame was found to have been damaged and a pry bar was recovered at the scene.
On Jan. 4, a complainant from Muirfield Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 5:55 a.m., unknown person(s) entered his residence through an unlocked rear window and removed $400 and two iPod Nanos.
On Jan. 4, a complainant from Muirfield Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Jan. 2 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 3:30 p.m., unknown person(s) entered his residence through a rear door and removed a Samsung television valued at $741.
On Jan. 4, a complainant from Raymond Street in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Jan. 3 at 9 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 3:30 p.m., unknown person(s) entered his attached garage through a rear door without permission; there was no reported loss at the time of report.
Larceny:
On Jan. 4, a complainant from Voorhis Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Jan. 3 at 5 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 8:45 a.m., unknown person(s) entered her unlocked 2004 Toyota parked in the driveway without permission; there was no reported loss at the time of report.
On Jan. 4, a complainant from Voorhis Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., unknown person(s) entered his unlocked 2003 Subaru parked in the driveway without permission; there was no reported loss at the time of report.
On Jan. 4, a complainant from Knollwood Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m., unknown person(s) entered his unlocked 2006 Cadillac parked in the driveway and stole her son’s epilepsy medication without permission.
On Jan. 4, a complainant from Milburn Street in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Jan. 3 at 11 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 6:40 a.m., unknown person(s) entered her unlocked 2006 Honda parked in the driveway without permission; there was no reported loss at the time of report. In addition, a rear door to the garage was reportedly found open and a kitchen window screen was found in the up position.
On Jan. 4, a complainant from Voorhis Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Jan. 3 at 3:30 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 5:30 a.m., unknown person(s) entered his unlocked 2008 Audi parked in the driveway without permission and stole fifty rounds of .223 ammunition and an Apple iPod.
On Jan. 9 at 2 a.m., a complainant from Greenwood Lane in Melville reported that an unknown male damaged his 1999 Chevrolet without permission, stole two Apple iPods, GPS, and a portable CB radio and was observed fleeing on foot southbound on St. Marks Avenue in Rockville Centre.
On Jan. 9 at 1:05 p.m., a complainant from Sullivan Avenue in Port Jervis reported that unknown person(s) stole her unattended purse while she was at McFadden’s Pub, located at 210 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre on Saturday night.
On Jan. 9 at 3:47 p.m., a complainant from Egg Harbor, New Jersey reported that unknown person(s) stole his unattended wallet while he was at Kasey’s Bar, located at 23 N. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre on Thursday.
Unusual Incident:
On Jan. 3 at 9:48 a.m., a Windsor Avenue resident reported that her Citibank Visa debit card was missing and unknown person(s) used it to withdraw funds from her bank account from locations within New York City.
Criminal Mischief:
On Jan. 5 at 9:42 a.m., an employee of Chelsea Financial Services located at 214 Maple Ave. in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the front window of the business sometime between Jan. 3 at 5:30 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 11 a.m.
On Jan. 9, a complainant from Weidner Avenue in Oceanside reported that unknown person(s) damaged the driver side window of her 2004 Jeep while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 8 between 3:35 a.m. and 3:39 a.m.
Property Damage:
On Jan. 3 at 5:50 p.m., a Wantagh resident reported that unknown person(s) damaged the driver side door and fender of his 2008 Chevrolet while it was parked in front of 25 Montauk Ave. in Rockville Centre.
On Jan. 10, a complainant from Main Street in Stony Brook reported that his 2004 Infiniti was damaged at approximately 2 p.m. by unknown means while parked at 127 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
