Crime Watch: Jewelry and $4K Robbed from North Forest Home
Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

The following information was supplied by the RVC Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrest:
On Aug. 2 at 3:30 p.m., Howard A. Walter, 71, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt for violating an order of protection against a neighbor on June 18.

On Aug. 6 at 6:53 p.m., Anthony P. Femminello, 68, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for third-degree menacing following an investigation at his residence.

On Aug. 1 at 11:36 a.m., a North Forest Avenue resident reported that an unknown person entered her apartment and removed jewelry and $4,000.
On Aug. 4 at 9:50 a.m., the owner of an auto body shop on S. Long Beach Road reported observing a male subject in an office going through the file cabinets. Later in the day, the owner discovered a credit card had been stolen and had been used to make several unauthorized purchases after it was removed without permission.
