Larceny

  • A Warwick Road resident reported to police on Aug. 6 at 12:30 a.m. that a man was inside her unlocked vehicle, then fled with about $2 in coins after she screamed.

  • A Baldwin resident reported to police on Aug. 10 at 2:25 p.m. that an unknown person(s) damaged the window of and stole his GPS unit from his vehicle while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field #8.

Identity Theft

  • A South Park Avenue resident reported to police on Aug. 9 at 10:10 a.m. that an unknown person(s) made unauthorized purchases from his Citibank debit card account.

  • A Murray Court resident reported to police on Aug. 9 at 8:05 p.m. that an unknown person(s) made unauthorized purchases on her Verizon Wireless phone account.

  • Criminal Mischief

    • The superintendent of an apartment building on South Park Avenue reported to police on Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. than an unknown person discharged a fire extinguisher in a stairwell, causing damage to the walls and carpet.
