Crime Watch Part Two: Multiple Credit Card Larcenies

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

Larceny:

On May 6 at 12:15 p.m., a complainant from Lincoln Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) stole four credit cards from her unsecured 2000 Toyota while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 4 in Rockville Centre between May 5 at 9:30 p.m. and May 6 at 11:30 a.m.

On May 6 at 2:30 p.m., a complainant from Oxford Street in Northport reported that unknown person(s) stole a pocketbook, credit cards and personal property from her 2009 Jeep while it was parked at Skelos Field in Rockville Centre between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

On May 6 at 4:07 p.m., a complainant from East 17th Street in Brooklyn reported that unknown person(s) stole a purse containing personal property including credit cards from a shopping cart while at Home Goods, located at 150 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre.

On May 4 at 10:30 a.m., a complainant from Pacific Street in Massapequa Park reported that sometime between April 25 at 3:30 p.m. and April 26 at 8 a.m., unknown person(s) stole her Amazon Kindle valued at $150 from a desk located in a classroom at Hewitt School, 446 Hempstead Ave. in Rockville Centre.

Criminal Mischief:

On May 2 at 1:40 p.m., a complainant from N. Village Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between April 28 at 4:30 p.m. and April 29 at 9:20 a.m., unknown person(s) damaged her 1998 Honda while it was parked in the apartment building parking lot.

On May 3 at 12:45 p.m., a complainant from Better Home Health Care, located at 310 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre reported that on Feb. 20 sometime between 4:25 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., unknown person(s) damaged a glass door valued at approximately $1,000.

On May 5 at 11:10 a.m., a complainant from McDermott Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged a tire to his 1991 ME/BE  while it was parked on Broadway in Rockville Centre on April 27 between 8 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

Property Damage:

On May 6 at 9 a.m., complainant owner from Ed McNulty Realty, located at 29A N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre reported that a window valued at $500 was damaged by unknown means sometime between May 5 at 8 p.m. and May 6 at 8 a.m.

Property Lost:

On May 5 at 1:30 p.m., a complainant from Austin Boulevard in Island Park reported losing her pocketbook containing personal property while in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway and N. Centre Avenue in Rockville Centre on May 1 at approximately 3 p.m.

On May 4 at 3:30 a.m., a complainant from Henry Hudson Parkway in the Bronx reported that she lost her Apple 4G iPhone while at Kasey’s Bar, located at 23 N. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre at approximately 3:16 a.m.
