'Please Help Us Bring Petros Home': Mom's Plea To Find Missing Son
"Every bit of information matters." Petros Krommidas' mother says her son, a legislature candidate, was last seen on April 23 in Nassau.

BALDWIN, NY — A week since Petros Krommidas, 29, went missing, his family is searching frantically — desperately seeking information so that they can bring him home safely.
He was last seen on the night of April 23.
Krommidas, who resides in Baldwin, is running for the Nassau County Legislature's 4th District.

Krommidas' heartbroken mother Maria posted a flyer to Facebook urgently asking for the public's help to help find him.
She said the night he went missing, her son went for a swim in Long Beach near the Allegria Hotel — and hasn't been seen since.

Police said Krommidas' car and clothing were located near the boardwalk.
"We are urgently asking residents, building managers, and property owners within a mile in either direction of the Allegria Hotel to check any camera footage (Waze, Ring, building security, etc.) from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 .m. on Wednesday night, April 23," she wrote. "We are looking for any footage of Petros on the beach or entering the water during that time."
Her son, she said, is 6-feet, 2-inches tall and 230 lbs.
"If you have any video footage or information, no matter how small, please contact us immediately," she wrote. "Every bit of information matters. Please help us bring Petros home."
