Feb. 25: Food Sorters, Grab & Go and House Hunt

Thank goodness it's Friday! The weekend is finally here, so as you plan out how you're spending your weekend, let us tell you what's happening in and around the village so that you can start your weekend off right.

1. From 1:30-3 p.m., the  needs volunteers to help sort food donated by the community. Why not give back to the community you call home?

5. If you got kids between the ages of 10-14 who want to have some fun on a Friday night, take them down to Hot Skates, the Merrick Road skate rink on the border of Lynbrook and Rockville Centre. From 7-9:30 p.m., kids skate for free! Adults are not allowed during the teen skate, though adult chaperones are permitte
