Feb. 28: Crime Watch, Monday Mysteries and Open Mic Night

It's Monday and you might be asking yourself, is it Friday yet? Since we have a full week left before the weekend, check out what's going in Rockville Centre today and get your fill of something other than work

1. Find out what crimes happened in your neighborhood when the Crime Watch posts at 7 a.m.

2. Come down to the from noon to 1 p.m. for its next installment of with Eileen McCarthy. This month's mystery is Raven Black by Ann Cleeves, and it is open to all. 

3. An open mic and band showcase night will be held at the  from 7-11 p.m.  Musicians can sign up for the Open Mic segment starting at 7 p.m.  Admission is $8 for the general public and $5 for musicians. Check out some local bands or bring your band to jam out!

4. Part two of RVC Patch's series on potholes in the village posts today at 2 p.m. Local Editor Anthony Bottan breaks down the worst ones on the South Side of town.
