Feb. 3: Adult Game Night and Village Board Meeting

It's Thursday, and that means only one more day of work before the weekend! So as you prepare to finish up your work week, let us tell you what's going on in RVC today.

1. The Village Board convenes tonight at  at 7 p.m. for a briefing sessions. Though residents are not allowed to comment, come down and listen to trustees discuss proposed planning code changes and other items pertinent to the village.

2. Need to have some fun without your kids? The Rockville Centre Public Library hosts an adult game night from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Enjoy Nintendo Wii games, chess, mahjong and much more!

3. Patch's new special section launches today at 7 a.m.! From 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., check out our weekend guide, list of recently sold homes, where to eat locally and a list of the best places in RVC to watch the Super Bowl.

4. If you have little ones between the ages of 1-5, bring them to the RVC library between 9:30-10:30 a.m. for . Community resource professionals are on hand to discuss topics such as: child development, nutrition, speech and language and movement and music.

5. Did you miss the girl's basketball game last night against Hewlett? Find out if the girls remained undefeated when the game story posts at 2 p.m.
