GLEN COVE, NY — One local lawmaker is condemning remarks by former president Donald Trump.

During a Tuesday appearance on WABC Radio's "Sid and Friends in the Morning," Trump told host Sid Rosenberg that Vice President Kamala Harris "doesn't like Israel" and "she doesn't like Jewish people."

"Jew hatred is a form of racism, which is defined as prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized," Assemblyman Charles Lavine (D-North Shore) said in a statement.
