March 24: RVC FD Bond Presentation, Softball Preview and Zumba

Oh Thursday, if you could only be Friday! Only one more day before it's smooth sailing to the weekend, so as you prepare to finish up your work week, let us tell you what you need to know today.

1. The Village Board meets tonight at 7 p.m. at for a public briefing session, which will be followed by the RVC FD's presentation request for a $21 million bond at 8:30 p.m.

2. , the dance/workout program that has grown in popularity over the last few months, is now being offered in RVC! Thewill host a class from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and it is $5 per class.

3. Next up on our previews for spring sports is the softball team. Do they have what it takes to contend for a conference title? Find out when the story posts at 4 p.m.

4. For high school kids who want to have some fun with their friends after school, head down to  at 4 p.m. for its High School Challenge Bowling League. For $10, teams of three can compete in three games, and rental shoes are included. A trophy will also be given to the winning team.
