March 31: The Social Network, Zumba and Candidate Profiles

Oh Thursday, if you could only be Friday! Only one more day before it's smooth sailing to the weekend, so as you prepare to finish up your work week, let us tell you what you need to know today.

1. Are you a fan of Facebook? Care to know how it all got started? Molloy College is showing the smash hit, "The Social Network" today at 5 p.m. It is free to attend.

2. , the dance/workout program that has grown in popularity over the last few months, is now being offered in RVC! Thewill host a class from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and it is $5 per class.

3. Patch profiled village board candidate yesterday. Today, we'll introduce to you the other village board candidate running on the RVC United Party ticket.

4. For high school kids who want to have some fun with their friends after school, head down to  at 4 p.m. for its High School Challenge Bowling League. For $10, teams of three can compete in three games, and rental shoes are included. A trophy will also be given to the winning team. 

5. South Side High School recently hired an alum with a championship pedigree to run its football program next year. Find out what former champion will lead the Cyclones next season when the story posts at 10 a.m.
