ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Nearly four dozen custodial workers at Molloy University have gone on strike, the union announced.

The 45 workers, who voted to authorize a strike on Friday, officially walked off the job at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, the union, 32BJ SEIU, said in a release.

Custodial workers chose to strike in protest of the university's failure to provide any additional bargaining dates and bargain in good faith, the union said.
