BALDWIN, NY — Despair has continued to mount as Petros Krommidas, the Nassau County Legislative candidate from Baldwin, remains missing for more than two weeks.

The fortnight has been excruciating for his family — and for none more so than his mother Maria, who has been regularly posting desperately to Facebook in a cry for help to bring her son home.

On Wednesday, she wrote that there was "still no light. It's been 14 unbearable days since my boy went missing."

Krommidas, 29, has not been seen since he disappeared by the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach. That's where police said his clothing and car were recovered, but there have been other no signs of Krommidas.

"Since then, we’ve had no answers. Just heartbreak," his mother wrote Wednesday.

Last weekend, volunteers, divers and drone operators canvassed Atlantic Beach, Long Beach, Lido Beach and Point Lookout.

His mother said teams went door-to-door near the Allegria and along the boardwalk, "pleading with residents for any camera footage facing the beach or water."

She added: "We need your help more than ever."

In particular, help is needed in trying to access camera footage from April 23.

"We are begging for their cooperation to help us see the shoreline and water that night. It could be the key to finding our son. If anyone has access to those feeds, please help us see the water that night on any location of the entire boardwalk," she posted.

His mother Maria said the work needs to continue — people should not give up on finding her beloved son. "Please share, walk, search, look, pray," she said. "These upcoming days are critical to walk the beaches — particularly if our boy is in the water."

She posted high tide times for Wednesday and Thursday (below):

• Lido Beach: 5:44 p.m.
• Long Beach: 5:44 p.m.
• Atlantic Beach: 6:43 p.m.
• Rockaway Inlet: 6:06 p.m.
• Jacob Riis Park: 6:10 p.m.
• Breezy Point: 6:46 p.m.
