Mount Sinai South Nassau Receives 10 Awards For Patient Care
The Oceanside hospital was honored with "High Performance" rankings by U.S. News & World Report.

OCEANSIDE, NY — Mount Sinai South Nassau was recognized by U.S. News & World Report with multiple "High Performing" ratings.
Officials from the Oceanside medical center announced on Wednesday that it was awarded 10 "High Performing" distinctions for procedures and/or conditions including colon cancer surgery, diabetes, hip fracture, kidney failure, leukemia and maternity.
"What I feel these third-party evaluations provide is a validation from an outside source, that's not us, saying 'we are here to provide quality care," said Dr. Adhi Sharma, President, Mount Sinai South Nassau.

Colon cancer surgery, diabetes, hip fracture and leukemia among the are new recognitions for 2025-2026 from U.S. News & World Report.
Mount Sinai South Nassau was also awarded a High Performing rating in the 2024-2025 U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals for Maternity Care,” which was released in December.
