Mount Sinai South Nassau Unveils $50 Million New Emergency Department
The department includes a state-of-the art trauma unit with an adjoining radiology bay.

OCEANSIDE, NY — A fully renovated Mount Sinai South Board emergency department is set to open for patients on Wednesday.
The new look emergency department triage is part of a $50 million project on a four-story, 100,000 square foot Feil Family patient pavilion. It will feature nine new operating rooms and 40 critical care suites opening this spring.
The new Fennessy Family Emergency Department features centralized nursing stations for direct oversight of patient rooms, bedside triage, and a state-of-the art trauma unit with an adjoining radiology bay.
