Officer Hurt Attempting To Arrest Woman In Hicksville: Police
Stephanie Ceballos had been involved in an altercation with another woman early Wednesday, police said.
HICKSVILLE, NY — A police officer was injured as two women got into an altercation during the overnight hours on Christmas, authorities said.
As the argument escalated, Stephanie Ceballos, 31, of Hickville, broke the front door on Suggs Lane, police said.
Ceballos struck the other woman in the face. She became combative while attempting to arrest her. A police officer was hit causing swelling and bruising on the face, police said.

She is charged with second-degree assault, third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Ceballos is expected to be arraigned on Thursday.
