Rockville Centre residents and guests will now be able to obtain overnight parking passes online.
The police department program eliminates the requirement to visit the station in person for a temporary overnight parking exemption — all that’s required is an internet connection and a printer. An pass is necessary for anyone who’d like to temporarily park their vehicles on the street or in municipal lots between the hours of 3 and 5 a.m.
The program is intended for guest vehicles that are not registered with a Rockville Centre address or for residents with a valid reason, such as construction blocking their driveway or a new driveway being installed.

To obtain a temporary overnight parking exemption, visit www.rockvillecentrepolice.us and click on the Overnight Parking Request icon. Overnight parking permits only allow vehicles to park on village streets or in lots overnight and do not exempt the vehicle owner from any other village municipal code or state vehicle code.
Residents and guests that do not have internet access can still obtain passes at Rockville Centre Police Headquarters 24 hours a day.
